Click the Country is a free online geography game that turns the whole world map into a fast, friendly quiz. A country name appears at the top of the screen and your job is simple: find it and tap it before your lives run out. There is nothing to download and no sign-up — the interactive map loads straight into your browser on a phone, tablet or desktop, and you can be playing within seconds. Every correct tap builds your streak and pushes your score higher, while the map quietly remembers which countries you have already found, so you can watch the globe fill in as you sweep from continent to continent.
The rules are easy to pick up but hard to master. Watch the "Find" bar for the country you need, then tap that country directly on the map. A correct tap flashes green and adds a point; a wrong tap costs you one life, so aim carefully. Tapping the empty ocean is always free, which lets you pan around and get your bearings without any penalty. You can pinch or scroll to zoom in on the tiny nations, drag to move across the map, and use the on-screen buttons to zoom, recentre or rotate the view. Stuck on a really obscure one? You get up to three skips per game to move on without losing a life.
A few habits make a real difference. Learn the shapes and rough positions of the big landmarks first — the boot of Italy, the vast block of Russia, the horn of Africa — and use them as anchors to locate their smaller neighbours. Zoom out to reset your bearings, then zoom in before you commit to a tap in a crowded region like Europe or the Caribbean, where borders sit tightly together. Build a long streak by clearing the countries you recognise instantly, and save your precious skips for the ones you genuinely cannot place. Play a few rounds and you will be surprised how quickly the map of the world starts to feel familiar.
Choose Easy for five lives plus a helpful tap-assist that snaps a near-miss to the closest country, or switch to Hard for just three lives and pinpoint tapping when you want a real test. Your best score is stored on your own device, never on a server, so every single game is a fresh chance to beat your personal record and eventually find every country on the map. Whether you have two minutes to spare or want to slowly master all seven continents, Click the Country is built to keep you coming back for one more attempt.
